The Coaching Well
Newsletter
A twice-monthly letter for coaches ready to build their practice from the inside out.
Welcome.
You've likely found your way here through word of mouth or personal connection—and that tells me something about you.
You're curious. You're open. You want your work to matter—to you and to the people you serve. You sense there may be unconscious patterns quietly shaping your practice, and you're willing to look in that direction. You want to experience authentic success—a business that is a genuine reflection of who you truly are, not just what you've been told a coaching practice should look like.
If that's you—you're in the right place.
What This Is
The Coaching Well Newsletter is a free, twice-monthly letter exploring what becomes possible when coaches stop building from the outside in—and start building from the inside out.
This isn't a newsletter about better strategies, smarter funnels, or optimizing your offer. Those things have their place. But strategy alone can only take you so far—and for most of the coaches I know, it's not strategy that's in the way.
It's the conditioning running quietly beneath the strategy. The survival patterns shaping your enrollment conversations without your awareness. The belief that more clients, more income, more credibility will finally make you feel okay. The urgency masquerading as inspiration. The blindspots you're inadvertently reinforcing in your clients because you haven't yet seen them in yourself.
This letter is about all of that—and what opens when it starts to become visible.
Because when the inside shifts, everything shifts. Not because you've implemented a better system. Because you've changed at the level of the equipment itself.
That's what I mean by coaching well.
And, to be clear, this work isn't opposed to results.
Coaches in this community make solid money, grow their practices, and show up with more confidence and ease than they did before. What shifts is the relationship to those results—and the place they're built from. Money becomes a byproduct of alignment rather than the finish line you're running toward. And that distinction changes everything about how you work, how you enroll, and how sustainable what you're building actually is.
What We Explore Together
Every letter is part personal reflection, part teaching, part invitation. Written from the middle of real life—not from a place of having it all figured out.

You Don't Have to Change Your Money Beliefs
what if the path to a different relationship with money isn't fixing your beliefs, but seeing through them?
The thread running through all of it:
your inner life and your outer work are not separate things. They never were.
Who This Is For
You don't need a particular background or vocabulary to belong here. You don't need to have done years of inner work or arrived at any particular understanding.
You don't need a certain income level or years of experience. The beauty of the inside-out approach is that it meets everyone where they are.
You just need to be willing to look honestly—at yourself, at what's been driving your practice, and at what might be possible from a different place.
The coaches who find their way here have their own story. Some have followed the steps—the marketing strategies, the launch formulas, the proven systems—and found great success. Others followed the same steps and found they worked for a while, until they didn't. Or something felt off about the process from the very start.
Some have run on adrenaline for years—chasing more clients, more income, more credibility—hoping the next milestone would finally bring the fulfillment they were after. Until the doubts arrived: What's wrong with me? These strategies used to work. Why not anymore?
Some have hit an unexpected curveball—a slow season, a business unraveling, a life change that made everything they'd built feel suddenly fragile. Some have had a genuine awakening and are ready for their practice to reflect who they've become. Some are simply starting out and want to build something sustainable and true from the very beginning.
What they all share is a sense that there's more available—in their work and in themselves. And a willingness to look in that direction.
If that's you—this letter is for you.

About Amber
I spent the first decade of my coaching practice doing it the way I'd been taught—and doing it well.
I learned the steps, implemented the strategies, and built real results. And then, like a good student, I started teaching them. My clients grew their practices. The game was working. More clients, more income, stronger strategy—that was the measure of success, and I was winning by it.
What I couldn't see then was how much of the drive behind all of it was fear.
My days were run by my to-do list. Eighty percent of my time—if not more—was devoted to my work. Work was my drug. Success and recognition were my badge of honor. My worth was clearly tied to my bank account. And all of that felt completely true and real.
Until 2024, when the business I had built began to crumble.
The actions I was used to taking stopped producing the same results. And that forced me to look—really look—at what I'd been believing. Maybe the strategies weren't what had brought the success. Maybe something else had been in play all along.
What I found underneath was a tangle of misunderstandings I hadn't known were there—about needing to be likeable, about following the rules, about money and safety, about reputation and credibility and worth. As that conditioning started to fall away, something unexpected opened: peace, freedom, play, surrender. I was a die-hard control freak who had done very well inside that survival strategy—until it was time to let it go.
Since then, my life and work have only gotten better. Not because I found a better system. Because I stopped building from lack—and started building from the fulfillment that was already here.
The strategies and practicals are still part of what I share. They just aren't the entry point anymore. Because when inspiration is fueled by love rather than fear—when we've actually felt the fear and watched it dissolve—those strategies become something different entirely. More potent. More alive. More genuinely ours.
That's how I now live and lead in my work. And it's what this community is devoted to.
I hold an MA in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica and have trained with Byron Katie, Rohini Ross, Robert Holden, and Drs. Ron and Mary Hulnick. I live in Los Angeles with my husband Vince and our rescue dog Matzah.
