The Mentor Who Helped Me Open My Heart

If you've been part of my community for a while, you know the impact Michelle Bauman's coaching had on my life.

Michelle was a transformational force—the person who saw me with deep clarity, helped me shift every area of my life, and loved me in the most authentic way.

I've often said my company name, Fierce Loving, came from my work with her. She championed me, challenged me, and helped shape the woman and coach I am today.

When Michelle passed away in 2015, I thought that chapter was complete—that I'd never again experience that unique fit with a mentor…someone who could see me in a way I couldn't yet see myself.

Turns out I was wrong.

In 2024, during one of the most confusing, disorienting seasons of my life, I reached out to Rohini Ross. I didn't know then what her presence would become for me. But what I found in her was a quality of seeing—gentle, wise, unshakably grounded—that helped me come home to myself in a way I hadn't before.

She didn't cheerlead me.
She didn't try to fix anything.
She simply saw the truth of who I am…and helped me see it too.

The freedom I'm experiencing in my inner world today exists, in part, because of her.

And I am beyond grateful that she is joining us as Guest Faculty for The School for Humaning Well.

If Dr. Amy Johnson opened the portal of Mind, and Kendra Cover  opened the portal of Body, Rohini opens the portal of Heart.

The tender place.
The courageous place.
The place where life softens, reveals, and heals.

Which brings me to something very special…

Most of us learned to protect ourselves by closing off when life gets hard.
We brace.
We withdraw.
We shut down.
We armor our hearts, believing this keeps us safe.

But what if the very feelings we've been avoiding—grief, fear, tenderness, disappointment—are actually doorways?

Doorways to deeper aliveness, creativity, intimacy, and connection.

In this conversation, Rohini will explore what becomes possible when we meet our emotional world with curiosity rather than resistance…with presence rather than protection.

You'll discover:

  • Why fighting what is keeps us stuck

  • How to be with difficult emotions without being overwhelmed

  • The kindness of staying open-hearted when life feels challenging

  • How presence becomes the portal to freedom

Rohini's work is a blend of spiritual understanding and deeply human wisdom. She is one of the clearest, most compassionate guides I know—and I can't imagine a more perfect way to close this Guest Faculty Series.

And honestly…
Having this conversation as we move into the holiday season—a time when hearts tend to open and ache all at once—couldn't be more perfect.

If your heart feels pulled toward this, I hope you'll join us.

Reserve your spot here.

With loving,
Amber

PS: If you've been getting value from my recent articles and the Guest Faculty webinars, I highly encourage you to explore The School for Humaning Well. It's a unique, intimate six-month journey into a paradigm shift that the mind often dismisses as “impractical,” yet it turns out to be the most practical and transformative move you can make.

Spots are filling—and I'm currently having powerful, healing conversations with people who feel drawn to this work—helping them experience their own truth and the brilliance of their design.

If this speaks to you, reply and we'll set up a time to talk.

You don't need to improve or change one thing about yourself to feel good enough. That wholeness is already here. Come experience it for yourself.

Enrollment closes Dec 15, 2025.
