Physical Pain Masterclass

“This shouldn't be like this.”

Have you noticed how often that story runs throughout the day?
It might be about traffic. A conversation. A headline. Your to-do list.
Or, like me recently, about physical pain.

A few weeks ago, I woke up in the wee hours of the morning with intense neck pain. My mind immediately went into overdrive—trying to fix, control, and plan my way out of the discomfort.

The more I resisted my experience, the more I suffered. And let me tell you, I was pretty caught up for a little while. (This is part of humaning well, by the way!)

As my nervous system softened on my chiropractor's table, I began to see what was really going on—not just in my body, but in my mind. Patterns revealed themselves—and as they did, I found more and more relief.

Physical pain—acute and chronic—are part of this human journey. We will all meet this moment from time to time.

I was inspired to create a short, informal mini-masterclass about this experience while it was still fresh.

Even if you aren't in physical pain right now, emotional pain can feel just as sharp. Moments that feel like they “shouldn't be this way” always carry some kind of discomfort—and that discomfort is an invitation.

You'll take away insights like:

  • A simple shift that loosens the mind's grip on pain

  • Why softening the body opens the door to clarity

  • How pain can become an ally instead of an enemy

  • Ways to build trust in yourself, moment by moment

I hope this meets you right where you are today—whether you're in pain or simply noticing the subtle ways you resist what is.

With loving,
Amber

Imagination vs. Reality: Habits, Anxiety & Inner Freedom
Thursday, Oct 9 • 10–11:15am PT

So often, we get caught in imagined stories—the “what ifs” and “shoulds” that fuel anxiety and keep unhelpful habits in place. In this conversation, psychologist, coach, and author Dr. Amy Johnson will share how seeing the nature of thought—and the difference between imagination and reality—dissolves anxiety and makes lasting change feel effortless.

If you don't yet know Amy, she is a joy to learn from. She's helped thousands find freedom from anxiety, habits, and self-doubt, hosts the top-rated podcast Changeable, and has been featured on The Steve Harvey Show and Oprah.com. Her gift is making the complex simple — showing us just how much freedom is available when we stop fighting our minds.
