No Tricks—Just Treats For You!

In the spirit of Halloween—and an overflow of abundance—I have a few treats for you today.

Over the past week, I've heard from many who watched the video masterclass An Exploration of Identity: How Awareness Frees Us From Suffering. If you haven't seen it yet, you can watch it here.

This conversation struck a chord because it points to something beyond the mind—beyond who we think we are. And that can be both liberating and disorienting.

I also heard from several people who joined Dr. Amy Johnson's webinar and felt a little confused by what we explored. That's so normal. When we open conversations about identity and direct experience, the mind often tries to understand first. Yet it's usually the last to catch on, if at all.

That's because this topic points to direct experience—to what's felt through sensations, energy, and emotion. The mind can only interpret those things, not experience them directly—which is why confusion is often part of the unfolding.

If that's where you found yourself, watching the Identity masterclass may help. It gives the mind a bridge, easing its need to figure things out so you can relax more fully into direct experience—and take in the freedom Amy pointed toward.

And for those of you who have already watched the Identity masterclass and want to go deeper, I have a special gift:

The full replay of my conversation with Dr. Amy Johnson is now available to everyone.

Originally, it was only for registrants—but this conversation was too good to keep tucked away.

→ Watch the Replay of “Imagination vs. reality” with Dr. Amy Johnson below.

Amy beautifully explores how the imagination fuels our suffering, and what happens when we stop believing every story that passes through. If you've ever tried to control your mind or fix your anxiety, this one will meet you in a different, more gentle way—especially if you let your mind rest while you listen.

The path of awakening is rarely linear. It unfolds in layers. Often, we're pulled forward by something deeper than thought—an inner knowing that says yes, this way. You can trust that.

And now, the main treat…

Our next Guest Faculty conversation is coming up soon—and this one brings the work even closer to home, through the wisdom of the body.

Cultivating Safety:
Embodiment, Intimacy & the Nervous System

What does safety really mean—and where does it come from?

Not the kind the world tells us to chase, but the kind your natural system knows—the kind that lets you soften into life, even when things feel hard.

That's what we'll explore in this second conversation of The School for Humaning Well Guest Faculty Series.

Kendra Cover is a coach and healer who embodies the work she teaches. She brings a grounded, nourishing presence that you can feel. She's also one of my dearest friends—and someone whose transformation I've witnessed up close. Her devotion to truth runs deep.

In this session, you'll discover:

  • Why your nervous system reacts the way it does (even when you “know better”)

  • What safety actually means—and how to cultivate it within

  • How nervous system awareness transforms intimacy, self-trust, and your capacity to be with life as it is

  • Simple embodiment practices to expand your ability to stay open, grounded, and connected

If Amy's conversation opened the portal of Mind, Kendra's opens the portal of Body.

And if you found Amy's talk conceptual or challenging, this may be the perfect next step. Sometimes, when we meet the body directly, the mind naturally settles, and truth becomes easier to feel than to think.

Reserve Your Spot for Kendra's Conversation Here.

With loving,
Amber
